About Me
Thank you for taking the time to look through my website.
I have had an interest in health and healing since my early 20's and initially completed a diploma in Complementary Therapies in the late 90's. Later I followed this up with a diploma in Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguisitc Programming (NLP)
I hoped to help people to overcome stress, and limiting beliefs and to live there best lives.
In 2019 I completed a BSc (hons) degree in Humanistic/Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, so I could also reach those people that weren't so interested in trying Hypnotherapy. I noticed that there was a theme to many of the clients I was working with which was difficult relationships with parents and partners, mainly in the form of experiencing emotionally abusive relationships. This resonated with some past experience I had and I began to research more into this. Thats when I came across narcissistic abuse and parental emotional neglect.
I now work with clients like you to enable and empower you to overcome trauma and anxiety and promote self-development and awareness,giving you tools that you can incorporate into your life to continue to heal and grow. Promoting your positive mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. Having said that, therapy is not about the tools, though they are helpful, it is about talking and exploring your inner world, and also, the relationship between client and therapist has been shown in research to be the biggest agent for change.
Outside of the world of therapy, I am a proud Mum of two gorgeous girls, who have definitely been my greatest achievement. I live with their Dad, my partner of 25+ years and our lovely cat, Saffy.
